VeeamON Forum UK London 2017 – Why should you attend?

Why attend?

Yeah that’s me in the middle above, looking daft, but I am sat next to some very smart folk. Former Veeam Vanguards and now Veeam employees Anthony Spiteri and Tim Smith. The point is though it’s not just the vendors who are at the event, it’s the other like-minded people. The opportunities to network and  share stories or get ideas from people are excellent at these events.

The picture above was captured from a video created at VeeamON Forum UK 2016. The 2016 event was well attended and informative. Talking to vendors in the solutions exchange, attending breakout sessions and as I said before, meeting like-minded people were all highlights for me and really helped me to think of ways to improve things I was already doing with Veeam or to look at new technologies.

2017 Agenda

• VMware backup best practices: 2017 edition
• Voice of a customer session

Some of the sessions above I attended at VeeamON 2017 in New Orleans. The customer panel sessions offer some fantastic insight into real organisations problems and how they have been resolved. It maybe a bit pre-canned but the content is good.

Closing thoughts

I am looking forward to catching up old friends and meeting new people. I love to talk shop, so if you see me, come over and say hi.
